All dogs are distinct in their own special way, of course. But there’s something extra unique about this pup named Lucky.
His curious appearance makes him stand out a bit more than the rest.

Lucky is 2 years old and lives in Thailand with his owner, Charice Fca Cha. She adopted him just last week, but in that time, he’s already proved to be quite the little star.
Whenever they’re out and about, Lucky steals the show.

“There are so many reactions,” Charice told The Dodo. “Some people are stunned, excited, surprised. People want to meet him.”
And it's easy to understand why.
And it's easy to understand why.
Lucky, you see, was born with heterochromia,
a condition where each eye develops different coloring. In this pup's
case, one of his eyes is pale blue, and the other is brown.
That's not all Lucky has going on, though.
Over the pup's blue eye is a dark, arching spot.
It sort of looks like a big, cartoonish eyebrow.

Lucky is real. After Charice posted his photo online, however, there's been a small crowd who've had a hard time believing it.
"Some people think I used a permanent pen to draw his eyebrow or photoshopped his face," she said.
Thankfully, despite looking outwardly different, Lucky is in good health. He was a bit skinny when Charice adopted him, but she has plans to plump him up with a better diet.
Lucky found someone to love him both inside and out — and he knows it.
"He’s a very clinging guy," Charice said. "He sticks with me everywhere all the time."

What makes Lucky special most of all is his heart, and the friendship he shares with Charice. She's looking forward to a lifetime of love with that adorably eye-catching pup by her side.
"I think we will have a fun and very happy future," Charice said.
